I met Jorn within the KISTEP event during IPSIM 2012. Jorg is member of the nordic Innovation Organization. Jorg gave an excellent speech about Innovation Fund Programs in Europe facing the problem of fragmentation (research per country) and remembered the great upcoming problems in the future. Sustainability, Water, Energy, Billions of People... He pointed out that these issues can not be solved even by the biggest companies: the intrinsic social challenge. There is only ONE chance: To solve it together! Genetics, Bio-Science, Material-Science, and all other disciplines acting on a global coordinated level.
