But when Max finds himself under suspicion after a shell he retrieves leads a daring escape, his only choice is to go undercover and bring the anti-cloning operation down. Max #39;s journey brings him face to face with the shells who want nothing more than the chance to live as humans, and Max soon finds himself wondering if they really are a collection of organs and tissues - or real, flesh and blood humans? A fast paced page turner filled with twists and turns, The Shell Collector balances science fiction action with questions about human cloning, genetic engineering, and the brave new world looming on our horizon!
